Teramo, located at the base of the Gran Sasso mountain range, is a city with a rich history and beautiful natural surroundings. Facing the Gran Sasso range, Foruminvest Italia realised the Gran Sasso shopping centre. The Piano d’Accio site now boasts a shopping centre with 30,000 m2 of retail space and a football stadium with around 9,000 seats, which can also be used for concerts and other events. The University of Teramo has built 1,000 student apartments adjacent to the shopping area. The shopping centre is a seamless fit with the local architecture and its surroundings. All the shops are on the ground floor. The centre has five main draws: a supermarket, a DIY store, a food court and an outdoor terrace. The roughly 1,850 parking spaces are at ground level and in an underground parking garage. The modern, covered centre is close to the A24 motorway, which links Rome to the Adriatic coast. Gran Sasso has a catchment area of around 265,000 residents. This development has made Teramo much more than just a place people can go to for their daily shopping. Thanks to the extensive shopping area, offering people varied and pleasant shopping experiences, Teramo is now most definitely a place people will want to visit for a long time to come. Europe Awards: Gouden Baksteen (golden brick) for the best real estate development in Italy.
