‘K’ in Kortrijk

Thanks to the realisation of the ‘K in Kortrijk’ shopping centre, the Kortrijk city council and Foruminvest have breathed new life into the city’s shopping area and given a major boost to the attractiveness of the city centre as a whole. The shopping centre offers 34,000 m² of shops and has a 100-metre long and 30-metre wide atrium, flooding the centre with daylight. National and international chains in medium-sized and large retail units are an excellent addition to the existing retail offering. The shopping centre has an underground parking garage with around 1,100 spaces and an underground bike parking facility. Simultaneously with the realisation of the shopping centre, Foruminvest built an eight-storey residential tower block, with shops on the ground floor and apartments with terraces on the higher floors. This residential tower block is the vertical landmark of the project.
