‘TwoTwoFive’ residential tower in Amstelveen reaches topping out

With the flag raised by Alderwoman Floor Gordon, the topping out ceremony marked a significant milestone in the construction of the ‘TwoTwoFive’ residential tower block at Biesbosch 225 in Amstelveen. This is a milestone for a highly appealing construction project in Amstelveen. In 2019, project developer and investor Foruminvest took the initiative to build 276 affordable, luxurious, and sustainable rental apartments. Of these, 138 apartments have been acquired by the ‘Huurwoningen Nederland Fonds’, an investment fund managed by Credit Linked Beheer. Alderwoman Floor Gordon (Spatial Planning): “The topping out of this building has been achieved. We are pleased to draw attention to these rental apartments, which will be available on the market from € 850 per month, for Amstelveen residents in search of housing affordable for middle-income households. There is a strong focus on sustainable (shared) mobility to prevent an increase in parking pressure in the neighbourhood. That was an important condition for this beautiful project.” The residents will receive a beautifully finished apartment equipped with a complete kitchen and a private balcony. Additionally, there will be electric shared cars, charging points for cars, bicycles, and scooters, a concierge, a parcel delivery point, and a dedicated app with services for residents. Over 80% of the homes fall within the highly sought-after mid-rental segment. The residents will receive the keys to their new apartments this summer. Potential tenants can register for the apartments via the website www.225.nl.
