Foruminvest Italia reinforces its leadership position in hotel development with the acquisition of an 11,070 sqm site for a new hotel project in one of the most strategic and dynamic areas of Milan.
The site is located in Segrate, in the immediate vicinity of Milan Linate “Enrico Forlanini” Airport, one of Italy’s leading airports, which surpassed 11 million passengers in 2025, with steady year-on-year growth.
The area benefits from excellent connection and is easily accessible via Milan’s A51 Eastern Ring Road and the Lombardy motorway network. In addition, the M4 metro line, reachable on foot in just a few minutes, connects the airport directly to the city centre in under 15 minutes, ensuring fast, efficient and sustainable access for both business and leisure travellers.
The project involves the development of a four-star hotel with 279 rooms, offering a wide range of services for both domestic and international guests, including a co-working area, meeting rooms, a bar and restaurant, a fitness area, a rooftop panoramic pool, and parking for approximately 140 vehicles.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026, with the hotel’s opening planned for the first quarter of 2028.
“This investment marks a further step in Foruminvest’s growth journey within the European hospitality sector. The proximity to both the city and the airport, the excellent accessibility, and the area’s strong dynamism make this project particularly attractive for both domestic and international demand. We are confident this initiative will further strengthen our position as a developer specialised in the hospitality market, creating long-term value for all stakeholders involved,” said Giacomo Silvestri, General Manager of Foruminvest Italia.
The land acquisition was finalised with seller Ambrostore S.p.A. Foruminvest Italia was assisted in the transaction by law firm SOLVING.
With this transaction, Foruminvest reaffirms its commitment to the hospitality sector and continues its growth path through targeted investments in locations driven by strong economic fundamentals, tourism and infrastructure development.
