Foruminvest Italia has purchased an 11.500m² site for new hotel development. The site is located adjacent to the international terminal of Milan Malpensa Airport on the MXP Business Park and next to Vodafone Automotive headquarters. The site is easily accessible by car through the A4 and A8 highways, and by train with the Malpensa Express, which links the airport to Milan city centre. Accor – through its partner Amapa – has been named as the management company of the new hotel and Italy’s first TRIBE.
The hotel will house 240 rooms, including 10 suites, a fitness centre, meeting rooms, a ground-floor restaurant, a bar and a rooftop swimming pool. A total of 130 parking spaces are located under and around the building. The construction starts in Q2 2022 and the hotel is expected to open in Q4 2023.
The acquisition is fully in line with Foruminvest’s investing strategy in prime real estate in resilient European cities and leisure destinations such as Milan and Como, and confirms the company’s investment strategy in the Italian market.
