Description
Foruminvest has developed a high-grade and sustainable new residential complex, with 276 apartments and a three-storey underground parking garage at Biesbosch 225, at the junction of the Rembrandtweg and the Beneluxbaan in Amstelveen. More than 80% of the apartments are in the mid-rental segment. OZ produced the design in cooperation with Forum Concept & Design, Foruminvest’s in-house design agency. The garden surrounding the complex provides an excellent connection with the local environment. This striking and modern building is built using high-grade materials and will include a two-storey entrance hall, floor-to-ceiling windows, high-quality kitchens, PVC floors and spacious balconies for every apartment. Foruminvest devoted a great deal of attention to the creation of a sustainable living environment. The design includes a thermal energy storage system in combination with solar panels, high-grade insulation, charging stations for shared electric cars and airtight door and window frames. All apartments are equipped with energy-efficient heat recovery units and a separate heat exchange shower system. The public spaces are fitted with LED lighting. The ground level includes an extensive integrated water retention system.
